This is where I will share little tips and bits of wisdom that I come across. Check back often.

MY TROUBLE TREE
I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job; a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one-ton truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, reaching up with both hands. When opening the door, he underwent an amazing transformation…his face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss. Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. ‘Oh, that’s my trouble tree,’ he replied ‘I know I can’t help having troubles on the job, but one thing’s for sure, those troubles don’t belong in the house with my wife and the children…so I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.’ ‘Funny thing is,’ he smiled,’ when I come out in the morning to pick ’em up, there aren’t nearly as many as I remember hanging up there the night before.’

Illness is an opportunity for growth, a signal that tells us we must change and restore harmony with our universe. Considered in this light, illness becomes a less negative affair and healthy for our evolution.

IMAGINE
Imagine that each soul is like a water molecule that evaporates off the Oceans (symbolizing God). Imagine all the possible paths that a single water molecule can take on its trip back to the Oceans.
The gaseous water molecule condenses into the water, drops out of a cloud, gets blown around the world, falls on the earth as snow, sleet, or rain. It gets trapped in a glacier for eons, or absorbed into a tree or animal for some unknown time, until finally it merges with a stream or river to make it back to its origin, the Oceans, maybe days, months, years, decades, centuries or millennia after its departure.
And when the molecule gets back to the Oceans, it tells a story about the incredibly unique but at the same time similar trip that it just had to all the other water molecules in the Oceans. Hearing the adventure story, excites other water molecules to embark on their own adventure through the cycle of Life.

PLANT AN INSPIRATION IN YOUR FUTURE
Ever find yourself inspired by a certain phrase, quote, or idea only to forget about it as time goes by? Keep the good mojo going with this simple tip. I’m a sucker for a good quote but it’s hard to keep them in mind and hold on to the good motivation they can give when there are so many other things competing for your attention. Pasting Post-It! Notes all over your desk and refrigerator isn’t the answer but I found something that works even better: write your favorite inspirational and motivational catch phrases ahead of time on the calendar. The result? A future filled with unexpected and personally-tailored bits of healthy mojo that have the magical power to refresh your mindset and re-energize your efforts. THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS… ONLY TEACHERS…. LIVING IN YOUR WISDOM!
We all know the everyday blessings and difficulties of life, but do we know how to use them as lessons from our soul? Each life event is an opportunity to know yourself in a deeper way and to befriend parts of yourself you may be meeting for the first time. Each person you call into your life, those that bless you and those that drive you crazy, are your soul’s way of teaching you about yourself, often
highlighting blind spots that repeatedly limit you, leaving you in familiar emotional territory. You can learn to recognize and trust the people and events in your life as valuable “soul sent” teachers. Living from this perspective will increase self-acceptance and reduce personal stress. Nothing happens by accident.
